The Players Part 2

Who's going to win this week at Sawgrass? Your guess is as good as mine. I think Matt Kuchar has a good shot at repeating a win here because he played so well here last year. But it really could be anyone! Bubba, Tiger, Rory,Day, Duffner,Westwood who knows. The Players

This weekend is the starting of one of the most exiting majors of the year, The Players. TPC Sawgrass is one of the most changeling and memorable courses ever built. The course is located in Ponte Verde Beach, FL and is home of the players championship annual. The defending champion Matt Kuchar Lead by only 2 shots going into the last hole and ended up making par to secure his name along the top in golf. TPC is most famous for its famous 17th par 3, the island green. Many courses around the country have tried to mimic this hole but Saw grass was the original. The hols is only a simple wedge away but with the threat of water on all sides and a small pot bunker in front the margin for error is very little. Its a very difficult hole as it is but throw in the atmosphere of a major championship in the atmosphere and millions of people watching you while you have a one shot lead, can be more than overwhelming. Many people before have folded under the pressure of this hole but people have also strives for this such as Sergio Garcia and Tiger woods who both left their iconic legacy in this course and this hole. Who will win this weekend? That guess is up to anyone and will be who can make the least mistakes at this course, that what it boils down to every year.

Bubba's hovercraft

Yall seen Bubba Watson's new hovercraft?! Bubba has partnered with Oakley to design the new style of a golf cart! The new cart is a hovercraft that glides across the fairways and rough. The coolest thing? You can drive over the water, through bunkers, and even on the greens. The design of the hovercraft lets you drive almost anywhere on the entire course. It leaves 32 times less of an imprint that an average human leaves with their foot while walking. So  you ask how much one of these would cost? Actually not as much as you would think. They take old carts and use old pieces such as the canape, searing wheels, side bars and more to help make this revolutionary design to cost lest for golf courses. Oakley is exited to be paired with Bubba and try to rewrite the ugly history of ugly golf carts.

Masters recap

Adam Scott is the newest Masters champion in the PGA Tour. He played brilliantly through the week at Augusta and ended up edging out Angel Cabrera on the second hole of the playoff. Scott's final putt in regulation on 18 was a sign that this young man had what it takes to take home the green jacket. In this interview above Adam Recaps the best shots of the weekend  and how it all led up to him winning the tournament. He has many key shots during the tournament but the most important thing was his strategy, he played aggressively all weekend. He attacked pins all weekend but he only did so when he was comfortable and when there was small penalty if he missed. Jason day who finished in 3rd also showed this strategy  Day play tremendously out of the bunkers all weekend but especially on Sunday with a chip-in on the 2nd for  eagle and on 16 which was in my opinion one of the toughest shots of the weekend. Scott also was great on the greens. He did not have a 3 putt all week and he made key putts when it mattered.
